  Sunday, May 16, 7:00 p.m., Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King St., Carson City – Symphony Showcase (A gala benefit for the Symphony Assoc.) features soloists and ensembles: Molly Carr, viola; Andrew McIntosh, violin; Matt McDowell, tuba; and Jon Holloway, horn; a guitar-flute duo (Larry Aynesmith, guitar, and Edith Isidoro-Mills, flute); the Silver Winds Consort (recorder ensemble); a Symphony woodwind trio (Edith Isidoro-Mills, flute; Tony Chieffo, clarinet; and David Colborn, bassoon); and a vocal, clarinet, piano trio (Judy Monson, soprano; Tony Chieffo, clarinet, Nancy Mielke, piano).  Tickets ($25 general, $8 students) are available at the Brewery Arts Center Office, 449 W.
